Syncing Updates to Shop-Ware Inspections with Detect Auto's DVI Assistant

Follow these steps to ensure your inspection updates in Shop-Ware are synced properly to Detect Auto:

1. Confirm Extension Version

• To gain access to the DVI resync ability, make sure you are using extension version 2.21.0 (newer versions are acceptable as well).
• If you don't know how to confirm your extension version (or if you aren't sure how to update your extension), please use this guide linked here.

2. Head to the Detect Auto Extension Settings Page

• Open the Detect Auto browser extension. Then, click on the blue button in the top right corner and select "Extension Settings".
• Next, select "Inspection Maintenance Settings" from the list.
• Finally, scroll to the bottom of the extension and click "Sync inspections from Shop-Ware to Detect Auto." This will reload your updates to your inspection inside of Detect Auto.

3. Verify the Sync

• To confirm the sync was effective, head to the inspection maintenance settings page on the Detect Auto website: https://ai.detectauto.com/shop-settings?tab=inspection-maintenance
• Select your inspection from the list and confirm that your changes have taken effect.
