Activating the Detect Auto Maintenance Function in the Browser Extension

Follow these steps to activate the Maintenance Function in your Detect Auto browser extension:

1. Install the Detect Auto Extension

• If you haven't already, visit the Chrome Web Store to download Detect Auto.
• Click Add to Chrome and confirm by selecting Add Extension. Then, complete the self-guided onboarding workflow.

2. Pin the Extension to Your Toolbar

• Click the Detect Auto icon in your browser toolbar. If you haven't done this yet, click on the Puzzle Piece icon in your browser toolbar. Then, click on the thumbtack button next to Detect Auto.
  
• After clicking the Detect Auto "D" button in your toolbar, you should see the following screen:
  
• If asked to log in or sign up, follow the instructions in the app to connect your account.

3. Activate Maintenance Function

• Once logged in, click on your name icon in the top left hand corner of the extension and select the menu option for "Extension Settings"
  
• Then, select the Customer Concern Maintenance Settings.
  
• Toggle the switch next to Enable Maintenance to ON, and hit Save.
  
• A confirmation message will appear: “Settings Saved”.
• Lastly, refresh your shop management software and you should now see the Detect Auto button!
