Activate Customer Concern Assistant

Activating the Detect Auto Customer Concern Ability in the Browser Extension


Follow these steps to activate the Customer Concern Assistant in your Detect Auto browser extension:



1. Install the Detect Auto Extension

  • If you haven't already, visit the Chrome Web Store to download Detect Auto.
  • Click Add to Chrome and confirm by selecting Add Extension. Then, complete the self-guided onboarding workflow.



2. Pin the Extension to Your Toolbar

  • Click the Detect Auto icon in your browser toolbar. If you haven't done this yet, click on the Puzzle Piece icon in your browser toolbar. Then, click on the thumbtack button next to Detect Auto.

  • After clicking the Detect Auto "D" button in your toolbar, you should see the following screen:

  • If asked to log in or sign up, follow the instructions in the app to connect your account.



3. Activate Customer Concern Assistant

  • Once logged in, click on your name icon in the top left hand corner of the extension and select the menu option for "Extension Settings"

  • Then, select the Customer Workflows Settings.

  • Toggle the switch next to Enable Customer Workflows to ON, and hit Save.

  • A confirmation message will appear: “Settings Saved”.
  • If you'd like to adjust the tool to open automatically, you can also toggle ON/OFF the Open Automatically setting.
  • Lastly, refresh your shop management software and you should now be able to use the Customer Concern Assistant!
